Our Sixth Annual Golf Tournament for Michael’s House
Hawkins Electric hosted its sixth annual golf tournament to raise funds for Michael’s House (link: http://www.michaels-house.org/index.html) last Tuesday at Whiskey Creek Golf Course in Ijamsville, Md. Michael’s House is a non-profit, grassroots organization that aids the elderly poor around the world.
As Michael’s House writes on its website, it “serves the elderly poor in the developing world who have become invisible, who receive no funds from government organizations or other large aid foundations. It is through gifts that they now have a face and dignity in their daily lives. We bring aid to the lives that others have deemed hopeless.”
The day’s winners included:

• Longest drive (male): Nick Yates
• Longest drive (female): Kat Zimmerman
• Marshmallow drive: Josh Trout
