Electrical Safety: Class In Session at Hawkins
The Hawkins Electric conference room became a classroom on Wednesday.
We hosted about 20 service technicians from Grady Management (https://www.gradymgt.com/) for a class on electrical safety, covering topics such as arc flash (link:https://www.osha.gov/dte/grant_materials/fy07/sh-16615-07/arc_flash_handout.pdf), arc fault and more.
The technicians from Grady — one of our great Hawkins commercial customers — perform maintenance at properties throughout the region, and both companies thought there was something to be gained from sharing Hawkins’ electrical expertise with the staff. The class was run by Hawkins senior estimator Chuck White, who held a similar class at the PMExpo last month in D.C.
